Description
for my use case, the language server will always be located at the same spot for myself and everyone in my team.
it would be nice if the language server could be saved in a config file in the .idea folder that i can commit, so that others in my team can have the LSP configured automatically without them having to set it up themselves.
(originally raised as part of #336)

Research direction
Start by reviewing the language-server configuration behavior described here and the original context in issue #336. Determine how configuration can be stored in the .idea folder and committed so teammates receive the LSP setup automatically; done means a committed configuration is discovered and used without manual setup.
