Description
Describe your suggested feature
It should work out like i have a series in watchlist but the website providing has stopped and i have some progress in it and watched some of episodes (ur if movie than a length), i can now migrate it to some other source and it restore the progress on this other source.
So i can continue watching it again where i left of.
I have attached some screenshots from a popular manga app TACHIYOMI which has migrate function and migrated a manga from one source (which has stopped updats) to another.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by tracing how the app stores watchlist items and episode or movie progress, then review the source-selection flow. Done should mean that an item can be moved to another source while preserving its existing progress, but the issue does not define the matching or failure behavior.
