Downloads crash the app into safe mode

Steps to reproduce

1. Hold the Download button
2. Select a provider
3. Wait till the app reboots into safe mode automatically

Expected behavior

The downloads should complete normally without any crashes.

Actual behavior

The download will start perfectly fine; upto 600 MBs or something would be downloaded and suddenly the app will reboot into safe mode. If you go back to the downloads tab, you'll see that the download has shifted back to around 300 MBs and wouldn't resume or play.

If you restart the app, it will attempt to download the same file again, effectively repeating the exact same cycle of trial and error. So you must cancel it manually.

Start by reviewing the attached logcat file, logcat_2026_05_10_15_43.txt, and trace the downloads flow for the /downloads/movies path. Reproduce the large-download scenario and verify that the app no longer reboots into safe mode, loses progress, or requires the download to be cancelled.
