Description
Steps to reproduce
Try to run any movie with an external player on Google TV 14.
Expected behavior
When I choose VLC or other player it should run a movie with the indicated player.
Actual behavior
When I try to run a movie with any external player, it gives an error "App not found". I don't have such issues in other applications where I can select an external player.

Research direction
Start by reproducing external-player selection on Google TV 14 with VLC, then trace the Android code that launches the selected player and inspect the resulting App not found error. Done means VLC and other selected external players launch the movie successfully on the reported platform; add focused coverage if the relevant tests are found.
