Tv app crashes and bugs

Steps to reproduce

I install app in tv it crashes so much i search some show and it loads so much that it crashes and i have to profiles if i click on any profile and i have to wait its ok but if i mistakenly press any remote button the app crashes and 1 more bug when i search the name of any show exactly and shows appear but search results still stays and using tv remote i cant go the click clear results for some reason i got to search bar from shows fram directly ignoring search results thats a bug i have to use arrow to clear search results

Expected behavior

no crashes and search results should not be show if i search the exact thing

Start by reproducing the reported crashes and search-navigation problems on an Android 12 TV device using the latest beta, while collecting the missing logcat output. Done means the app no longer crashes during the reported interactions and exact-match search results can be cleared or navigated with the TV remote as expected.
