Stutter when playing 4k streams with internal player on 4.7.0

Steps to reproduce

It can happen every 30 sec or so to every 30 minutes, so it seems random. It can last from a fraction of a second to several seconds.

I've tried all I can think of, including changing the video buffer size, trying the pre-release, trying all options under software decoding. It's not a network/file availability issue, as there's no buffering circle showing up when it happens.

It's a firestick 4k 2nd gen, and this doesn't happen in stremio, nuvio, or any external players including vimu, justplayer, vlc, mxplayer; this problem is unique to cloudstream's player.

I've checked temps, CPU % availability, and RAM availability. None of these seem to be an issue.

I'd just use an external player, but cloudstream doesn't keep watched progress of any of them except for VLC player, which fails to open many streams.

Expected behavior

It plays smoothly, with no stutters.

Actual behavior

When playing 4k streams, it pauses for 1/8 sec to several seconds seemingly at random with no buffering indicator.

Start by reproducing 4K playback with the internal player on the reported Firestick 4K 2nd gen and compare the supplied logcat with playback timing. Trace the internal player path and determine whether the random pauses can be reproduced without network buffering; done means smooth 4K playback without unexplained stutters.
