Description
Describe your suggested feature
Users switch between stable and pre-release semi-regularly. Therefore they would greatly benefit from being able to instantly restore data from other CloudStream instances installed on the phone. This is possible to do securely and efficiently using various existing Android IPC methods.
In the future this could also be extended to other CloudStream installations on the same network.
This is of somewhat limited use, because backups exist, but it would streamline the experience a lot.
I was thinking of trying to implement this in the near future.

Research direction
No files or tests are named. Start by locating the existing backup and restore flow, then review Android IPC options for transferring data between CloudStream instances. Done should cover a defined, secure restore path between apps; same-network support is described as future work.
