Description

Steps to reproduce

1.Open CloudStream app (Stable version).

2.Set Parallel Downloads to 4 and Concurrent Connections to 3.

3.Queue 13 episodes of the same anime for download.

4.Let episodes 1–10 finish downloading, leaving episodes 11–13 in the queue.

5.Long press one of the remaining episodes, select preferred quality, and press Download.

6.Observe that the download does not start, and there is no progress or notification.

7.Start downloading a different anime; notice that episodes 11–13 now begin downloading automatically.

Expected behavior

The remaining episodes should automatically start downloading when a slot becomes free, without requiring another manual download trigger.

Actual behavior

The download does not start. No progress appears and no notification is shown. The queue only resumes if a different anime download is started, which triggers the remaining episodes to begin.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in the CloudStream Android app using the listed queue size, download settings, and episode-quality change. Trace the download queue behavior when a slot becomes free; done means episodes 11–13 resume automatically with progress or notification, without starting another anime download.
