Description

Describe your suggested feature

Kindly add more video players in choosing selection. Only vlc and mpv are there when installed. It effect is this, in high end tv where local Dimming feature is there, but right now vlc is not triggering the local Dimming feature. The other hand in external drive vlc works well. So it is requested that kindly add the features/ option for more installed video players, in m3u8 player selection external video players are not able to play videos. We need a direct option enable for a external video player. Like Play in Nova Player, Play in X player etc.

Research direction

Start by tracing the m3u8 player selection and the existing VLC/mpv external-player options. The requested result is a direct option to choose other installed players, such as Nova Player or X Player, and have them play m3u8 videos.
