No progress bar when updating the app A15

Steps to reproduce

On Android 15 when updating the app, there is no notification/progressbar in the notification center which indicates the app being updated. When leaving the app in the background, the download stops as such it is only possible to update while staying in the app.
On previous Android versions a notification indicating the app is being updated can be seen.

Expected behavior

There should be a persistent notification indicating the app is getting updated with a progress bar. I have it on my Android 14 and 9 devices but not on 15.

Actual behavior

I can't leave the app or know if it is updating. Whenever I leave and return it fails. Gave it all permissions

No source file or test is identified. Start by reproducing the Android 15 update flow and tracing the app's update/download notification handling; done means a persistent notification with progress remains visible and the update continues when the app is backgrounded.
