Description

Describe your suggested feature

Extensions often contain multiple sources. These sources do not always have the a clear connection in their name to their extension. This makes it hard to find the relevant extension when their is an issue with a source. For this reason it would be great to make a search function that connects a source to its extension instead of having to manually deactivate many extensions to find it.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. First clarify how sources should be searched and displayed with their extensions, then locate the existing extension and source search flow; done means a source reliably identifies its extension without manually deactivating extensions.
