Description

Users have asked for a minimal/customizable version of our user auth page, for authenticating on private projects. Customizable login page could be a good feature, if technically feasible with a simple implementation. At very least, a separate docs login and password auth page could have minimal RTD branding. This could be a separate login page offered only from proxito.

Research direction

Review the existing ext-theme site templates and authentication-page entry points; the issue names no specific files or tests. Clarify whether the goal is a customizable login page, a minimally branded docs login page, or a proxito-only page, then define the accepted branding and customization behavior as the completion criteria.
