Description

Wanted to make a formal issue to suggest a feature request for Why React? based on this Twitter thread from @sophiebits . Personally agree I think it would be great to give context to newcomers to have a page explaining why Frontend Development has shifted towards React, what React offers.

Someone on the thread linked this resource

https://jlongster.com/Removing-User-Interface-Complexity,-or-Why-React-is-Awesome

Which has a lot of good insight

Research direction

Start with the Twitter thread and the linked article, then inspect the existing react.dev documentation structure for a suitable entry point. Done means a published page that gives newcomers context on frontend development's shift toward React and explains what React offers.
