Description
Description
When changing Android's Keyboard height changes, both keyboardDidChangeFrame and keyboardWillChangeFrame does not fired. Also, <KeyboardAvoidingView /> does not apply this height change.
Steps to reproduce
- Install the application with 'yarn android'
- Open the application with android device.
- Select first input(
keyboardType="email") - Select second input(
keyboardType="numeric") - You can see KeyboardAvoidingView's padding(or height) does not changed, and also event not fired.
- This also happens when you change keyboard to emoji keyboard.

Research direction
Start with the linked Snack reproducer and run it on Android using the reported email, numeric, and emoji keyboard transitions. Trace the Android handling for keyboardDidChangeFrame, keyboardWillChangeFrame, and KeyboardAvoidingView; done means the events fire and the view updates its padding or height when the keyboard height changes.
