Description
I implemented a custom ringback and busytone on an iPhone 8, but sometimes if I bring the phone to my ear the sound is cut off while running and I get a React Native alert that the proximity sensor event is not handled.
Why the audio track played is impacted by the proximity sensor?

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue on an iPhone 8 with custom ringback and busytone audio, then trace the proximity-sensor event handling and audio playback behavior. Done means determining why bringing the phone to the ear cuts off the audio and addressing the unhandled proximity-sensor alert.
