I'd like to change it to something like this:

Is this possible through css? I tried both fill and backgroundColor attributes for this with no effect.

The icons I tried this with are RxCheckCircled, RxCrossCircled, RxMinusCircled, RxInfoCircled.

Research direction

The issue names RxCheckCircled, RxCrossCircled, RxMinusCircled, and RxInfoCircled but does not identify a source file or test. Reproduce the reported fill and backgroundColor attempts with those icons, then document or verify the supported styling behavior and confirm the result visually.
