Description

Thanks for using react-icons and for your feedback. I apologize for taking so long to resolve issues and PRs. I'm currently working on improving the "infrastructure" of the project.

I plan to do development according to the following priorities. I believe that we can actively accept PRs when the following issues are resolved.

Improved development environment

  • Upgraded development tools. ex. eslint #623
  • Development of a dependency resolution tool to replace git submodule. Large repositories cause problems such as slow CI and editor performance. #635

Improved preview site

  • Improved build speed using esbuild etc. (Using Vite, etc.?). Replaced by Astro #834
  • Improved search performance
  • Easy to choose from more than 20 icon sets
  • better documentation

Change package structure

  • Split @react-icons/all-files into multiple packages. It contains too many files to be released as a single package.

Icon sets

  • Addition of currently requested icon sets
    • publish in v4.6.0
      • Tabler icons #562
      • HeroIcons #590
      • Circum icons #601
    • v4.7.1
      • Radix icon #648
  • Fixed icons not displayed properly
  • Easier size specification

Information

  • Automatic generation of CHANGELOGS. Clarify what has changed in the upgrade.
