Description

Hi,

By default, when the input matches a value in the option list, the auto-complete selects visually that item by default. Is there a possibility to create a flag that would disable this behavior?

Cheers

Research direction

The issue names no file, test, or entry point. Start by locating the autocomplete logic that visually selects an option when the input matches it, then identify the existing option or prop patterns before deciding where the requested flag belongs. Done means the behavior can be disabled without breaking the default selection behavior, with coverage for both modes.
