Description

I have a problem when combining the pagination with a search bar. This clip illustrates the problem.

Can this be solved? Something like the following:

if (total < ( rowsPerPage * current )) {
// Jump back to whatever page that makes sense
}

Research direction

Start by reproducing the pagination-plus-search case shown in the linked clip and inspect the pagination entry point. Define the expected behavior when filtering leaves the current page empty, then add coverage for that scenario and verify that navigation reaches a valid page.
