Description

rclone test makefiles would be more useful it if could create a reproducible file hierarchy from a given seed, e.g.

rclone test makefiles --seed wi33neasduo wi33neasduo/

Some other potential features would be to create empty directories, application extensions, all text files, compressible and incompressible files ...

Thanks for rclone, ncw. 👍🏻

Research direction

Start by locating the implementation of the rclone test makefiles command and inspect how it currently generates the file hierarchy. Define how the supplied --seed should make generation reproducible, then verify that repeated runs with the same seed produce the same hierarchy.
