https://www.raycast.com/yug2005/mail
Raycast Version
1.103.2
macOS Version
26.0
Description
A. See recent emails, also show unread messages from all accounts.
B. Even after setting default mail account in both Apple Mail app and in Raycast's "See Mail Accounts", again defaults to iCloud mail id. This creates problem, in features such as "Share With Mail" or "Compose New Message", as one has to manually select the 'from' address.
Steps To Reproduce
For A:
- Simply open "See Recent Mail" in Raycast, it shows all the already read messages from all accounts.
For B:
- Set "Send new messages from" to any other mail account in Apple Mail.
- Set a default account in Raycast's "See mail accounts"
- Try composing a new message. initially it may show correct chosen id, however, it defaults to iCloud address after rebooting or a while later.
Current Behaviour
No response
Expected Behaviour
For A: Only show recent unread mails, it used work correctly earlier.
For B: If user sets a default sender address either in Raycast or Apple Mail, it should remain persistent.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the Apple Mail extension at https://www.raycast.com/yug2005/mail and reproducing both behaviors in Raycast 1.103.2 on macOS 26.0. Check the recent-mail and compose flows, then verify that only unread messages appear and that the selected sender remains persistent after a reboot or delay.
