Research direction

Start by locating the Raspberry Pi kernel configuration entry for FONT_TER16x32 and reviewing how the referenced kernel commit makes it available for high-resolution VTs. Check the relevant default configuration and confirm the option is enabled in the generated build configuration. Done means the default Raspberry Pi kernel enables FONT_TER16x32 and the change is covered by an appropriate configuration or build check.

Description

Describe the bug

Could kernel config option FONT_TER16x32 please be enabled by default?

It adds in a larger font (double the size of the default) and, if compiled in, will be automatically used on high resolution displays, improving readability when needing to use a VT.
