Deformed output from application weston-simple-egl

To reproduce
run ubuntu 20.04 desktop manager or debian bullseye (with wayland)
run terminal
run weston-simple-egl

Expected behaviour
application output in window

Actual behaviour
application output showed in wrong pixel format

mesa from ubuntu 20.04
same problem with master mutter
