Description

I tried to look through different sites, forum, tutorial but never found a answer to my issue, hence im asking here.
Im trying to run all of my pies over the network, but some of them, only my 3b+ models iss having issues with booting without a sd card. my 3b works flawless after enableing usb mode boot.
When i power on the pi, the power red light is on, but no other lights. I can see on my switch that the port comes up but from my pxe server i never see any DHCP recuests.
It looks like the 3b+ never comes to the boot sequense where it enables the ethernet port
Useing a sd card with only the bootcode file works, then it sends out dhcp and downloads file from pxe server and boots up. But i want to avoid having the sd card.

To reproduce
Remove SD card, power on

Expected behaviour
Boot without SD card

Nothing

Update:
I forcefully set the port speed on my switch to 100Mb for my 3b+ pi, suddenly it started to boot over the network just fine. Tried the same thing with my other 3b+ and now thay work as well. If i set the port speed to 1Gb they wont boot anymore.
Weird that the 3b+ has this issues when my 3b and 2b works just fine with auto negotiation.
