Description
When building train signage using any of the styles (MTR, Guangzhou Metro, Shanghai Metro, Shanghai Suburban Railway) where the metro system is based outside China, it is quite annoying to have to deal with Chinese characters on the canvas while building such maps. For example, when building a custom Singapore MRT signage, I find that I end up having to deal with 往Orchard instead of to Orchard.
May I suggest that more flexibility is added to the system where I am able to manually change what the different parts of the screen say based on the context of the map I am creating? If not, could there be more templates available that are not China based to avoid having to deal with Chinese characters on the display?
Big fan of this tool. Thanks so much!

Research direction
Start by locating the template and canvas text handling for the MTR, Guangzhou Metro, Shanghai Metro, and Shanghai Suburban Railway styles. Clarify whether the intended result is English defaults, user-editable labels, or additional non-China templates; done should be verifiable by creating a Singapore MRT-style map without forced Chinese text.
