Description

Something that can be useful in veneers is to allow static operations to be partially overridden with fallback to the underlying representation’s dispatch. This pattern can be seen in StringCI, for example, which only overrides the static Comparable operations.

Research direction

Start by reading the StringCI veneer and its static Comparable operations to understand how partial overrides are represented. Then trace veneer dispatch and the underlying representation's fallback path. Done means veneers can override selected static operations while delegating the remaining operations to the underlying representation.
