Unable to use source view in Positron on Connect Workbench

Bug description

When I have a .qmd open and I swap to the Source tab from the Visual tab the editor occasionally crashes.

Originally when I went to open this issue it was occurring every time, but when I went to record for this issue I only had it occur sometimes.

Steps to reproduce

Open a .qmd document on Workbench in Positron and swap between the Source and Visual views.

Actual behavior

Below you can see the second time I hit the Source tab the editor crashes(?) and re-opens the Visual tab.

Expected behavior

I would expect the swap to happen smoothly everytime.

• Positron Version: 2025.06.0 build 167
• Quarto extension version: 1.124.0

Start by reproducing the issue in Positron with a .qmd document on Workbench, switching repeatedly between the Source and Visual tabs. Inspect the Quarto extension's handling of that view transition; done means the editor switches smoothly every time without crashing or reopening the Visual tab.
