Description

Often, when opening up a project (especially noticeable in team meeting notes), recent meeting note qmds are not present in the sidebar. Ensuring I am logged in and refreshing the page resolves the issue.

This can lead to a further issue, where you create a file with a name that you expect to exist, which creates an automerge document that ends up getting lost (doesn't show up in the sidebar or anywhere, but is editable and stuff) (or replacing the other file with the same name when your project ends up getting synced up).

This can lead to significant confusion.

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. First reproduce the missing recent qmds in the sidebar, including the login-and-refresh behavior and the case where an automerge document is created; done means project files sync reliably without hidden or conflicting documents.
