Research direction

The issue does not name files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the Python filtering API and comparing its current hierarchy and FieldCondition objects with the Pinecone filtering syntax mentioned in the request. Done means agreeing on and implementing a simpler filtering interface, with coverage for the supported filtering behavior.
