Research direction

No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the uv add fastembed or uv pip install fastembed failure with fastembed 0.8.0 and reviewing its package license metadata alongside the registry's quarantine report. Done means the cause of the banned-license result is identified and a repository-approved resolution is documented or implemented.
