Description

It would be very useful to have circuits that fault tolerantly prepare, say, a logical all-|0> or all-|+> state.

In addition to being practically useful for simulations and experiments, this would enable Steane and Knill QEC (#304)

Research direction

Start by reading the issue's related papers, then inspect the repository's existing circuit and logical-state construction entry points. Define fault-tolerant preparation circuits for logical all-|0⟩ and all-|+⟩ states, with validation that they support the Steane and Knill QEC work referenced in #304.
