Research direction

Start by locating the Kinetics video dataset implementation and the project's new video reading API. Compare how the dataset currently reads videos with the new API and identify how CPU and GPU decoding choices are exposed. Done means Kinetics supports both decoding paths and the behavior is covered by the relevant dataset tests.
