merge dictionaries recursively

Description
Sometimes it would be nice to be able to merge dictionaries recursively, for example this:
In [19]: toolz.merge({1: {2: 3}}, {1: {3: 4}})
which normally results in:
Out[19]: {1: {3: 4}}
could instead be {1: {2: 3, 3: 4}}
This is useful for example if I want to have configuration files (in YAML maybe) that override each other without having to redefine all the values.
I think it would be quite easy to do (maybe an argument recursive=False by default), what do you think?
