Description

compile is only ./configure now:

https://github.com/python/pyperformance/blob/a1d16c778dbab209478c291826d35807c51d8794/pyperformance/compile.py#L279-L303

There's no support for Windows' build.bat:

https://github.com/python/cpython/blob/bac4fee745569ef7f9bbe465c1c7f66856854af2/PCbuild/build.bat

I have no access to Windows so I cannot do this one.

Research direction

Start in pyperformance/compile.py at lines 279-303 and compare its current ./configure handling with CPython's PCbuild/build.bat. Trace how compile selects and invokes the build command, then define completion as working Windows build.bat support; Windows validation will be needed because the issue reports no Windows access.
