  • Add a check for changes to config file; if it changes, require restart
  • Don't require -- when specifying flags for [re]start
  • Automatic timeout when daemon sees no requests in 2 hours (configurable)
  • An "auto" command or flag that brings up the daemon if necessary and then checks some files (#4192)
  • A way to restart while keeping the same flags
  • A way to carry the list of files across restarts so restart is transparent to recheck
