Description

We need a good reference for all Argument Clinic directives (@getter, output, etc.). Some of the directives accept one or more parameters; perhaps we can use typical CLI documentation for inspiration (@critical_section [arg1] [arg2]).

Research direction

Start by locating the existing Argument Clinic documentation and the current directive definitions. Inventory all directives, including those with parameters, and compare their syntax with the issue's CLI-style example. The work is done when the devguide provides a clear reference covering every directive and its accepted parameters.
