Description

Feature or enhancement

Proposal:

RFC 10008: The HTTP QUERY Method is now a finalized RFC on the Standards track, and the method name has been added to the IANA registry

So let's add it to python httplib too!

from http import HTTPMethod

HTTPMethod.QUERY
<HTTPMethod.QUERY>
HTTPMethod.QUERY == 'QUERY'
True
HTTPMethod.QUERY.description
''Query the target with the request payload.'

This is a minor feature, which does not need previous discussion elsewhere

Research direction

Start at the Python HTTPMethod entry point used in the example and inspect how existing HTTP methods and their descriptions are defined. Add QUERY with the specified description, then verify the shown HTTPMethod.QUERY behavior using the project's relevant tests. Linked PRs gh-153310 and gh-155786 indicate that work is already underway.
