Description

E.g. with --showlocals in addopts it should be possible to use --no-showlocals to disable it for the current run.

This might be achievable in general by extending argparse's action for bools/flags.

Research direction

Start by tracing pytest's command-line argument parsing and the argparse handling for boolean options, especially how addopts is processed. Check the existing option-parsing tests before changing behavior. Done means a boolean option such as --showlocals can be disabled for one run with --no-showlocals, with tests covering the new form.
