Description

Description

As discussed in https://github.com/pymc-devs/pytensor/discussions/637 PyTensor is geared mostly towards computational efficiency, although the same machinery could be easily tuned for symbolic simplification.

We could create a database of rewrites just for that goal

Research direction

The issue names no implementation files or tests; begin by reading discussion #637 and locating PyTensor's existing rewrite machinery. The issue does not define the database's scope, contents, or validation, so completion would require those decisions before implementation.
