Description

Description

The most notable use of the Hyp2f1 function is the Pareto/NBD model in pymc-marketing.

The Hyp2F1 function was finally added tojax last week, but cannot be used (see closed PR below for details.)

You may want to try nutpie with the numba backend after #1445

numba supports scipy.special.hyp2f1, so hope is kindled!

Research direction

No file or test is named in the issue. Start by locating the existing special-function dispatch path and numba backend integration, then check how scipy.special.hyp2f1 is exposed; done means Hyp2F1 can be dispatched and used with the numba backend.
