Description
Notebook proposal
Title: New distributions with CustomDist
Why should this notebook be added to pymc-examples?
Provide example(s) of the flexibility that PyMC provides with the CustomDist and auto-probability. Touch on when logp or logcdf might be required when defining a distribution and when they could be automatic

Research direction
Start by reading examples/howto/custom_distribution.ipynb and the linked PyMC issue discussion. Use the current custom distribution example as the baseline, then define the proposed beginner-level notebook scope around CustomDist, auto-probability, and when logp or logcdf are required or automatic. Done means a new notebook with clear examples covering those cases.
