Description

This would allow users to create the working directory manually. By having a fixed hash the user does not have to provide a working directory for every individual job. But maybe I could also add a parameter which just provides the hash as name for the working directory.

Research direction

Start by locating the input function and tracing how working directories and hashes are currently handled. Clarify whether the feature should accept a fixed hash, create the working directory externally, or use the hash as its name. Done means the chosen API supports reuse across jobs and has coverage for the resulting working-directory behavior.
