It would be nice to allow for existing xr.DataArray to be repeated requested number of times and to get xr.DataArray object on output.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Using np.tile achieves the goal but returns np.ndarray type of object. So one needs to explicitly create xr.DataArray object from such data if result product needs to be of an xr.DataArray type.
