Description

Hello there, I spotted an issue on https://pusher.com/docs/channels/using_channels/client-api-overview/

I'd like to know how to disconnect pusher completely.

  1. pusher.disconnect() is enough to disconnect all other objects, including channel? Unless, do I have to disconnect channel, too?
  2. when I disconnect pusher, all related channel events will be discarded automatically? Unless, do I have to unbind all events?

Research direction

Start with the Client API Overview page linked in the issue and verify the behavior of pusher.disconnect() for channels and bound events. Update that page to answer both numbered questions clearly, including whether any additional cleanup is required.
