Description
Use Case
Microsoft has released SQL server for Linux a couple of years ago. It is now a viable option to run the software on a non-Windows system. So it would make sense for the Puppet module to also support managing SQL server on Linux.
Describe the Solution You Would Like
The Puppet module's full functionality becomes available on Linux.
Describe Alternatives You've Considered
We have internally written a new module for managing SQL server on Linux with a minimal set of functionality.
