Research direction

Reproduce the missing strings subcommand using the reported Puppet 8.5.0, Ruby 3.1.4, and puppet-strings gem environment on Ubuntu 20.04. Start by checking how the installed gem exposes the puppet strings command; done means the command is available after installation or the issue is clearly documented as an incompatibility.
