Documentation about the replication between sites for mirroring purposes

I was trying to look for documentation about replication between pulp instances. The only info I was able to find is the API documentation and the plugin configuration:

But it only describes the different endpoints and how to enable replication on the different plugins.

I was able to create a basic replica using this but I just found some issues and I don't know how to progress due to the lack
of knowledge.
Also it would be great if the different plugins configuration have some kind of documentation about specific parameters needed
for this task if they exist.
