2.28.0: sphinx warnings `reference target not found`

Nobody has claimed this yet.

On building my packages I'm using sphinx-build command with -n switch which shows warmings about missing references. These are not critical issues.
Here is the output with warnings:

Start by running the reported sphinx-build -n -T -b man docs build/sphinx/man command and inspect the references in requests/models.py, adapters.py, utils.py, and cookies.py. Compare the missing targets with the documented objects and intersphinx configuration. Done means the relevant reference warnings, including the invalid language configuration warning, are resolved and the strict build no longer reports them.
