Description
Cmd and powershell have some hotkeys, like ctrl+home for scrolling up to the top of the screen, ctrl+c/v for copy/paste, escape for cleaning up the prompt, etc. Some of them can be implemented in the python code, but not all. Is there a way to passthrough them to the terminal? (or at least implement ctrl+home behavior?)

Research direction
The issue names no files or tests; start by locating the Python key-handling path for cmd and PowerShell input, then trace how Ctrl+Home, copy/paste, and Escape are processed. Done should be a maintainer-agreed behavior for at least Ctrl+Home, with the chosen behavior verified.
