I am baffled, I cannot find simple getch() one key input. I have to build application, layout, keybindings, output, full screen ...
Could it be done simpler?

Thank you

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named; first review prompt-toolkit's existing single-key input and CLI usage to determine whether this is an API request or a documentation gap. Done would require a concrete simpler getch path and an agreed scope, supported by a reproducible example or test.
